Our Education pillar ensures that every athlete remains academically engaged while being prepared for diverse career pathways within and beyond football. By promoting a dual-career approach, the academy safeguards the future of young athletes and expands their opportunities for lifelong success.
Academic Advancement
PAWAS actively works to ensure that all players are enrolled in school and supported throughout their academic journey.
- Enrolment: We conduct school enrolment campaigns especially targeting out-of-school or at-risk youth
- Retention: Monitoring of school attendance and academic performance through partnerships with schools to create flexible learning arrangements for athletes
- Transition: Provision of extra-mural classes and academic support sessions. This will also include them providing support for transitions between primary, secondary, and higher education levels
Career Guidance & Mentorship
The academy equips players with the knowledge and support needed to make informed life and career decisions.
- Jagora Hub: A structured mentorship platform that pairs young athletes with coaches, professionals, and alumni, providing guided support for informed decision-making across education, career pathways, and personal development.
- Elevate Series: A periodic sports series that offers career guidance on pathways within and beyond football, while exposing athletes to diverse opportunities across the sports ecosystem, including coaching, management, media, and related fields.
